Biography

I have been working on bioinformatics and plant molecular biology for many year, and worked as Research Associate for five years to study plant abiotic stresses, then I came to KAUST to work on cnidarian-dinoflagellate symbiosis, especially genome assemble and analysis, DNA methylation and comparing genomics.

Research Interests

Functional genomics, bioinformatics and epigenetics. Using and developing software to analyze -omics data to study the association of biological molecules and phenotypes, especially the mechanisms of symbiosis of coral and Symbiodinium.
