Manuel has been nominated by the Biological and Environmental Science & Engineering Division for the 2017 KAUST Distinguished Teaching Award. This Award recognizes an instructor for exceptional contribution to the classroom instruction mission of KAUST. He was one of the six professors shortlisted for this award.
