Maha attended this year's YOUMARES 8 (Young Marine Researchers) Conference in Kiel, Germany. The annual student led conference aims to facilitate communication and networking between young career scientists across Europe. This bottoms-up approach makes it an extraordinary experience for all attendees.
Along with three other ladies, she co-chaired a session titled "Tropical marine ecosystems across time, space and disciplines". She also presented some of her current research, and was awarded 3rd best talk at the conference!
