Amaar (SRSI student) places third in IBDAA 2017

09 March, 2017

The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (IBDAA) is a competition held yearly in Saudi Arabia. Targeted towards high school students, the 2017 edition saw 35,413 competitors vying for glory.

Amaar Amir, a SRSI student hosted in our lab last year, participated in the Animal Sciences category and won 3rd place nationally. He is now eligable to be chosen to represent the Saudi team in this year's Intel ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair) in Los Angeles. He is immensely grateful for the day-to-day supervision by Noura and Manuel throughout his SRSI internship.

We are proud of Amaar and wish him and the Saudi team best of luck in the upcoming competition.
